Our Pastor: Rev. Elizabeth Campbell-Maleke
(Pictured in top two photos)
Rev. Elizabeth came to the First Presbyterian Church of Williamstown in August 2011. She is from Upstate New York, where she grew up with her triplet sisters and originally sensed a call to ministry. She graduated from Davidson College, where she studied the intersections of Religion and the Arts. After two years of service in a faith-based non-profit (L'Arche Daybreak) and then a congregation (through the Presbyterian Church Young Adult Volunteer Program), she began her seminary studies at San Francisco Theological Seminary, during which time she also served as a youth pastor, civic engagement coordinator, and pastoral intern. She also completed a unit of Clinical Pastoral Education at Laguna Honda Hospital. She is grateful for her ministry in Williamstown and Waverly. Besides ministry, Elizabeth enjoys hiking, playing the saxophone, reconciliation work, and writing. She is married to Raymond Maleke, also a seminary grad serving in the United Methodist Church and native of Minahasa, Indonesia. They have a son, Caleb.

She has been married to her high school sweetheart, Sam, for 45 years, has 1 daughter, Laurel, and is blessed to have 3 grandchildren, Logan, Elizabeth & Aleasa Hedges. She began working as the secretary of this church in the late 1970s and continued for 32 years until receiving a beautiful watch on her retirement. After leaving full time employment elsewhere in 2012, the secretary's position was again open and Patsy left retirement to fill that need in her church. She enjoys all music, especially bluegrass, plays the upright (doghouse) bass and is currently a member of 2 bluegrass bands, Wills Creek and Sour Mash String Band.
Our Choir Director and Organist: Marijean Stockwell (pictured bottom right)

She has substituted for Special Education classes, taught 5th and 6th grade band at Williamstown, Waverly & Emerson Elementary schools for 12 years, and she is currently teaching Elementary General Music & Choir at Gihon Elementary School. Along with the above individuals, ministry is shared and enhanced by the commitment and dedication of the congregation's ruling elders and board of deacons, whom are ordained members of the congregation.
